Bruins Join Buffalo Sabres Prospect Challenge

The Boston Bruins will take part in the annual Buffalo Sabres Prospect Challenge. The tournament will start on September 17th and end on the 19th. All games are played at LECOM Harborcenter, the practice facility of the Sabres.

The tournament consists of three teams the Bruins, Sabres, and Devils. The tournament will help showcase top-up and coming talent in each organization.

Bruins Schedule:

September 18, 2021: vs Buffalo Sabres (3 PM)*

September 19, 2021: vs New Jersey Devils (1 PM)*

How is this beneficial for the Bruins? This will help them get a gauge on newly added prospects. This includes first-round pick Fabian Lysell, who unfortunately missed Bruins Development Camp.

The tournament also has an excel of competition. Each team will bring their top prospects to the tournament, increasing the level of talent.

Top prospects from the Sabres and Devils organization include: Alexander Holtz (NJ), Jack Quinn (BUF), etc.
