The Bruins are set to play game two of a two prospect game tournament. The Bruins prospects are set to go up against the New Jersey Devils prospects. The game is to be played at the LECOM HARBORCENTER, the practice facility of the Buffalo Sabres.

The Boston Bruins fall to the New Jersey Devils, to close out the 2021 Buffalo Sabres Prospect Tournament. Jesper Froden started the scoring off by tipping in a powerplay goal, giving the Bruins a 1-0 lead. Dawson Mercer countered by scoring late in the first period. His goal was assisted by Nolan Foote and Alexander Holtz. Holtz and Foote got goals of their own, to put the Devils up 3-1 in the 2nd period. Jesper Froden narrowed the lead to 3-2 by scoring another power play goal. He now has four goals in the tournament. The Devils would then add an insurance goal, late in the second period to take a 4-2 lead.
Jakub Lauko scores a powerplay goal. The Devils lead is now 4-3. Boston would call a timeout with 1:18 left in the game. New Jersey would prevail and win the game by a score of 4-3.
