Top U16 (2007) Teams in Ontario: London Jr. Knights

The London Jr. Knights, unfortunately, capped off the past season as the 19th-ranked team in Ontario. London won the 2019-20 Alliance Championship and was ranked as high as the second-best team in Ontario.

London's showing this season was due to the loss of two players, Ryan Roobroeck and Ethan Weir. Both players suited up for the 2006 team, although back for the 2022-23 season. After, both were denied early access to the OHL with exceptional status.

Ryan Roobroeck is an exceptional player. He was second in points last season playing with 2006-born-players. In 35 Alliance games, he recorded 82 points, leading his entire team. Roobroeck and the Knights competed in the 2022 OHL Cup, where he scored seven points in just five games.

Ethan Weir is another player that can turn a team around. The youngster scored 42 points in 35 Alliance games. He has more points than OHL third-round pick Broden McConnell-Barker and just less than first-round pick Jett Luchanko.

Look out for the London Jr. Knights to lead the OHL and bring a powerful punch.
