Toronto's ace Alek Manoah, has been named the impressive AL Pitcher of the month for September. In 41 innings of service, Manoah recorded an ERA of 0.88,this month. The 24-year-old allowed 23 hits and 12 walks over that span, with 33 strikeouts. He went 4-0 in six starts, with one of those no decisions also resulting in a win for the team.
Manoah has been stellar all throughout the season, even being named to the American League All-Star team. The Jays ace is currently holding a 16-7 record, along with a 2.24 ERA, while also pitching 192.2 innings this season.
