Bruins Lineup Holds TEN Unique Goal-Scorers Within Two Games

The Boston Bruins have have started their season off successfully, after taking their first two games against the Washington Capitals and Arizona Coyotes. Goal-scoring is nothing short in Boston right now, even though the team is without leaders, Brad Marchand and Charlie McAvoy.

Bruins Showcase Depthed Lineup

Goal-scoring has been tremendous to start the season for Boston. Head coach, Jim Montgomery has implanted a new playing style, in which it allows Boston's d-core to be more active in the offensive and neutral zone.

So far, it looks as if Montgomery's style has worked for the Bruins core. The Bruins have scored 11 goals in their two games this season. The Bruins even have ten unique goal scores to start the season, the team is finding offense all-throughout the lineup.

For example, Boston's leading goal scorer is currently A.J. Greer. The Bruins signee was fantastic against the Arizona Coyotes. Greer suited up on the third-line providing, physicality and great puck potential skills.


Furthermore, offensively the Bruins d-core are significantly more active within the offensive zone. Defensive defensemen, Derek Forbort was consistently pinching to keep pucks in, why generating shots on goal. The vet even scored his first goal of the season yesterday.

Montgomery System

While, the offense has exploded within the games so far, defense is a concern. The Bruins have allowed numerous odd-man rushes, due to their aggression and offensive prowl within the neutral and offensive zone.

At times, the Bruins lost stride in their victories against the Capitals and Coyotes. Boston started out with leads in both games, before allowing their opponent to tie the game and get back into the contest.


Furthermore, the Bruins look to work on their defensive responsibilities, as they play a tougher, heavier Florida Panthers lineup tomorrow.
