Matt Murray Injury + Kallgren to Start

The Toronto Maple Leafs previously called up netminder Erik Kallgren after placing Matt Murray on injured reserve. Kallgren has played in a total of 14 NHL games throughout his career, all last year.

This season, the Finnish netminder has suited up for one game in the AHL. Kallgren played just 28 minutes, before being taken out with a minor injury.

For Murray, it is extremely likely he won't be back in action for at least another four weeks. The former Stanley Cup champion, left a practice due to an adductor injury.

Expect Offense Tonight

Let's be real, Toronto should easily blow out the Arizona Coyotes. The Yotes are noted as one of the worst first period starters in the entire National Hockey League. Arizona has been outscored, 5-0 in the first period so far this season.

For the Leafs, expect them to pound the Coyotes in their zone, as once again the Coyotes are starting Karel Vejmelka. The Czech goaltender has a .884 save percentage and a 5.54 goals-against-average in two games of work.
