Canucks' GM, Patrik Allvin announced today that the team has reached an agreement with a contract extension for Andrei Kuzmenko. The Russian forward will be sticking around for another two seasons, after both parties agreed to a two-year deal, worth $11,000,000. Kuzmenko will carry a cap hit od $5,500,000, starting next season.

The 26-year-old rookie, has been one of the only bright spots on a poor Vancouver team. Kuzmenko is among the points leaders on the team as he currently sits with 21 goals and 22 assists in 47 games.
