Sens' Assign Jacob Bernard-Docker to Belleville (AHL)

The Ottawa Senators have announced that they have sent down 22-year-old, defensive prospect, Jacob Bernard-Docker down to Belleville of the American Hockey League. 


The former first-round selection of the Sens back in the 2018 NHL Draft, has seen a considerable amount of ice-time this season playing alongside Thomas Chabot. The defensemen has played in a total of 17 games this season with the Sens, notching just a single assist.

Bernard-Docker is among the top prospects within the Ottawa organization and has played in a career 26 NHL games. It is likely that the Sens' call the youngster back up prior to their upcoming game on Wednesday, due to the injuries to Artem Zub and Nikita Zaitsev.
