Boston Bruins prospect and member of Team Sweden Fabian Lysell has been ejected from the bronze medal game against Sweden after a dangerous check to the head.
Lysell attempted to apply pressure and body-contact on American forward Kenny Connors in the offensive zone, 30 seconds into his first shift. Lysell unfortunately got his shoulder up and hit the American forward straight in the head. Lysell was quickly ushered off the ice and picked up a five-minute major on the play.

The Bruins' prospect has had a forgettable World Juniors performance. Once again, Team Sweden will leave the tournament without a gold medal and is currently in a 6-6 deadlock with the United States. For Lysell, he was not able to record a point in the seven games he played in.
The Bruins prospect is set to report back to Providence of the American Hockey League.
