Amongst the names includes Chicago's #1 ranked prospect, shortstop Colson Montgomery. The 2022 first-round pick was recently ranked the 39th best prospect by Baseball America for the upcoming 2023 season. Montgomery looks to gain experience from a successful start playing in a mixture of A, A+, and AA ball last season.
Spring Training is just around the corner as pitchers and catchers are set to report in February.
