Prospect Tournament Game Recap: Bruins Defeat Sabres - September 18, 2021

The Buffalo Sabres Prospect Tournament has officially started. The Bruins play the Buffalo Sabres to start out their tournament. An excellent overall game by the young Bruins prospects. The game had a bit of everything. 

Recap:

Sabres forward Brett Murray potted in a  power play rebound to give the Sabres a 1-0 lead. 

Jesper Froden countered back by banking in a power play goal of his own. The newly acquired Bruins ties the game up.

Alex-Oliver Voyer and Sabres player Peter Tischke drop the gloves, both players received five for fighting.

Samuel Asselin gives the Bruins a 2-1 lead.

J-J Peterka (Buffalo) ties the game up (2-2), early in the third period.

Brett Harrison pots in a rebound to give the Bruins a 3-2 lead.

Jesper Froden scores his second goal of the game, he adds an insurance goal to give the Bruins a 4-2 lead.

Fabian Lysell adds another goal to the scoreboard to give the Bruins a 5-2 lead.

The Bruins defeat the Buffalo Sabres by a score of 5-2.
