MLB Game Recap: Rays at Twins (6/11/22)

The Tampa Bay Rays and Minnesota Twins have played game two of a three-game series earlier today. Last night the Twins defeated the Rays 9-4. Tampa sits in a wild-card spot, while Minnesota leads the central division.  (yesterday's game) Batting : Manuel Margot and Randy Arozarena started the first inning off by hitting singles. Both would later be driven in by Ji-Man Choi and Yandy Diaz hits. Tampa Bay took an early 2-0 lead. Minnesota would respond during the third inning. Luis Arraez hit his third home run of the season, driving in Ryan Jeffers, Nick Gordan, and Gilberto Celestino. Later in the inning, Jose Miranda would drive in Jorge Polanco with a double. Minnesota took a 5-3 lead after three innings of play. Tampa Bay would narrow the lead during the top of the sixth inning. Harold Ramirez would single-driving in rookie Taylor Walls.  Jorge Polanco would restore Minnesota's two-run lead by driving in Ryan Jeffers during the bottom of the sixth inning. MLB Game Recap: Twins at Blue Jays (6/4/22)

 The Minnesota Twins and Toronto Blue Jays played game two of a three-game set. Previously Minnesota took game one by a score of 9-3. Both the Blue Jays and Twins currently sit in playoff positions.                                                                                                  (Game 1) Batting : Jorge Polanco got Minnesota on the board first hitting, a two-run home run off former teammate Jose Berrios. Polanco drove in Luis Arraez, who singled to start the game. Bo Bichette cut the lead in half during the bottom of the first inning by hitting a solo shot off Twins' starter Dylan Bundy. The Blue Jays would then take the lead in the second after Cavan Biggio doubled to drive in Alejandro Kirk, George Springer singled, driving in Lourdes Gurriel Jr., and Cavan Biggio scored on a Jermaine Palacios fielding error. The Jays took a 4-2 lead after two. Alejandro Kirk and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. would add insurance runs by hitting two-run home runs in the third and fourth in
