The Bruins Need Hampus Lindholm to Have a Strong Start this Season

The Bruins will look to Hampus Lindholm to hold the reins defensively while star Charlie McAvoy recovers from offseason surgery. Boston acquired Lindholm for a big price tag last season. The former Anaheim Duck was dealt in exchange for Urho Vaakanainen, John Moore, a first-round pick and two-second round picks. A hot start from Lindholm will be vital, as the Atlantic Division is as stacked as ever. As the NHL offseason drags on and on, let's take a look back at the players the Anaheim Ducks chose during the 2022 NHL Draft: Pavel Mintyukov - Saginaw Spirit (1st Round) The Anaheim Ducks selected Pavel Mintyukov with the tenth overall pick in the NHL Draft. The defenseman, who was born in Russia, is currently a Saginaw Spirit OHL player. Mintyukov played 62 games with Saginaw in the 2021–22 season, recording 17 goals and 45 assists. The young Russian blueliner is not worried about offence. He is an offensively player with aggressive talent who can move effectively laterally. Mintyukov's defensive play, though, is something to be cautious about in his performance. Mintyukov frequently makes bold moves, which result in blunders and turnovers. The Anaheim Ducks are in the midst of a rebuild. Although this past season, the squad has shown significant progression. The Ducks finished second last in the Pacific Division with a 31-37-14 record, although many players showed signs of past expectations. For example, Troy Terry. Top Forward : Troy Terry Troy Terry arguably had one of the best breakout seasons in the entire NHL. The former fifth-round pick was touted as a highly skilled forward. Terry debuted during the 2017-18 season and wasn't able to post a 20+ points season till this year. The 24-year-old played 75 games on the Ducks' top line and scored 37 goals and 30 assists, leading the team in goals and points. He was also selected to represent Anaheim at the All-Star game, his first appearance. Terry is in the midst of a three-year contract, worth an AAV of $1.45M, ending after the 2022-23 season.
