MLB Game Recap: A's at Guardians (6/12/22)

The Cleveland Guardians have defeated Oakland, 6-3 today. The Guardians now sit in second in the Central Division, while Oakland sits in last. Batting : Ramon Laureano got Oakland on the board early, blasting a solo home run to left field. Ramon's second home run of the season gave the Athletics' an early 1-0 lead. Jose Ramirez would tie the game right back up the following inning. He would double and bring in Amed Rosario and Myles Straw. Owen Miller would drive in Ramirez later with a single to center field. Cleveland took a 3-1 lead after the first inning. Amed Rosario would add to Cleveland's lead, doubling and driving in Myles Straw. Josh Naylor would single-driving in Rosario during the sixth inning. During the seventh, Jose Ramirez would drive in catcher Austin Hedges after reaching on an error. Cleveland took a 6-1 lead going into the eighth. MLB Game Recap: Red Sox at Athletics (6/5/22)

 The Boston Red Sox and Oakland Athletics cap off a three-game series today, Boston previously took the first two games outscoring Oakland 15-2. Batting : Boston's Jarren Duran and Kike Hernandez started the game by hitting singles to put runners on base. Rafael Devers would single to left field, driving in Duran and giving Boston a 1-0 lead. Not long after, Oakland would respond to tie the game. Chad Pinder doubled to left field, while Ramon Laureano doubled to right field, scoring Pinder. During the top of the sixth inning, Red Soxs' right-fielder Franchy Cordero hit a three-run home run, driving in Bogaerts and Devers. Boston took a 4-1 lead.  Rafael Devers would add an insurance run hitting a solo home run barely over the left field wall. Boston leads 5-1 after eight innings. The Athletics would try to spark a comeback during the ninth inning catcher Christian Bethancourt hit a double to deep right field. He would later be driven in by an RBI single from Tony Kemp. MLB Game Recap: Red Sox at Athletics (6/4/22)

The Boston Red Sox head into game two of a three-game set after taking game one 7-2. Both teams came into the game with losing records, hoping to gain some momentum to make a playoff push. The visiting Red Sox sends Canadian Nick Pivetta to the pound, while Oakland sends Paul Blackburn. Batting :  Trevor Story led off the third inning with a double to deep left field, followed by a walk to Franchy Cordero. Ninth hitter Christan Vazquez drove in Story by hitting a double to left field. Later in the inning superstar, Rafael Devers singled to centerfield, driving in Cordero and Vazquez. The Red Sox took a 3-0 after three innings. In the following inning, Alex Verdugo would drive in Xander Bogaerts to give the BoSox a 4-0 lead. The Red Sox would explode during the eighth inning, driving four more runs to make the game 8-0. Verdugo singled to drive in J.D. Martinez, Story doubled to drive in Bogaerts, while Cordero singled driving in Verdugo. The A's were held scoreless throughout the g
