Will Jack Studnicka Perform with the Vancouver Canucks?

The Vancouver Canucks acquired forward Jack Studnicka from the Boston Bruins in exchange for Michael DiPietro and Jonathan Myrenberg. Studnicka is a 23-year-old centerman who was a former second-round pick by the Bruins during the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.  Studnicka will have every opportunity to perform with his new team. With the injuries to Brock Boeser and Curtis Lazar, Studnicka is expected to join the team as soon as possible. The 23-year-old is waivers eligible, meaning he would have to be placed on league waivers prior to being sent down to the AHL.   The Windsor native has found success at the AHL level, but has yet to translate his play to the NHL level. When Studnicka competed against the likes of Patrice Bergeron, David Krejci, and Charlie Coyle in Boston, the youngster was left playing very few minutes a night.   There is no doubt that Studnicka is a dedicated player who wants to continue to grow in his game.
