2022 Draft Prospect Rankings - Top CHL Players

1. Shane Wright - Kingston (OHL) Shane Wright is the obvious choice to go first overall at the upcoming NHL Draft. The consensus number one selection has been in the media for years. Wright was given Exceptional Status by the CHL to allow him to play in the OHL during the 2019-2020 season (as an underaged player). This season Wright had 32 goals and 62 assists in 63 games with the Kingston Frontenacs. The dynamic playmaker also played for Team Canada's World Juniors Team and assisted once in two games.  2. Matthew Savoie - Winnipeg (WHL) Savoie has one of the best playmaking abilities in the entire draft. The Alberta native split his 2020-2021 season with The Sherwood Park Crusaders of the AJHL and The Dubuque Fighting Saints of the USHL. In total, he scored 24 goals and 20 assists in just 38 games.
